It's all over.
As promised by the management, there was no year end party ( there was no bonus either ) , no James bond style ballroom, as Whackster anticipated and I hoped for, so we did the traditional kiribath thing in the morning and exchanged gifts afterwards. what did i get? A picture with a golden frame*
The whole time The Kid was close by bugging me about my braces.
"look at you..*looks at my Saree up and down* very pretty . in braces" *smirks*
"no boys for u all year"
"look what i can do with my teeth. *chews on a toothpick to smithereens while I watch in pain*
When I used a fork to eat he laughed at that too.
"see how I eat? mixes Kiribath with lunumiris and takes big mouthfuls* cant ne???"
"see, now when I do this *tries to shake a tooth with his fingers* it does not hurt me"
after the whole jing bang was over I came back to my department and he called me.
"whoa..you. *stunned silence while I chuckle* so I'm a mutt eh??" *chuckle*
"Happy new year kiddo"
"Happy new year MiddleChild" ( he used my real name here )
