Secret Santa Part 4 - The other Secret Santa

Time : 6.30pm. ( the previous day )

Place : somewhere outside office premises.

Phone rings. It;s The Kid. He asks me a couple of questions about the new project and I duly answer and then ..

"here, you didn't give me a clue to plant no. He is a little upset that everyone else is getting clues and not him. don't be such a spoil sport men."

to which i say i will get back to him the next day and hang up.

The next morning he calls again. "3 things. 1, what can we do about..., 2, where's the clue? 3. WHERE'S THE CLUE ????"

OK so by now I'm freaking out. Does he know I'm his Secret Santa and is it why he is pestering me to give clues to the other guy?? mental note to self : check who the other guy's secret Santa is . just in case.

3pm. The kid calls again.

"DUDE ! u rock !! u left a parcel for him !! hahahaha. we are going to open it . call ya back !! laaaaterrrzzz !!! "

"HEY ! HEY !!! WAIT !!! .....i didn't leave a parcel"

"huh? u didn't ?? but he received something. its not from u???"

"NO!" ( ok maybe I should have said yes . stupid me ! ) someone must be playing a prank on him. what's in it??"

"hold on"..........."erm..hehehe..it's underwear. large"

"definitely not me" ( glad i didn't say it was me )

"oh wow. so there's someone else playing with him. this is fun. machang. u r his true Secret Santa. its time u gave him a clue. who knows who the other person is ! "

"I KNOW. I'll get back to u. stop buggin me!!! "

shit. i didn't really expect the other guy's true Secret Santa to plant a clue. damn it.
